Notes : Last of the 3 episodes of the mini-series dedicated to Vulcan's forge, as a reminder of the original series (Amok Time) and the animated series (Yesteryear). The title of the episode refers to the Kir'Shara, a sacred Vulcan artifact from Surak's time recovered by the Syrrannites. G Graham and J Combs come back in the recurring role (respectively Xth et 6th episode). Guests have all already appeared in previous episodes of season 4, 'The Forge', 'Awakening' and even 'Home' for Koss. Also note the intervention of the Lirpa, Vulcan hand weapon, already seen in 'Amok Time' (TOS). In the Vulcan Forge, high tech weapon are useless due to geomagnetic instabilites. Not like in 'Home', every external scenes (desert and Vulcan landscapes) were shot in the stages. The 3 lirpa commandos are stuntmen, uncredited in this episode.
