LIVING QUARTERS |

The 87 NX-01 crewmembers quarters are located between decks B and F. Few quarters have a view on space, and still it's only small size windows. The structure and material of the shp don't allow large transparent surfaces exposed to space void. Old documents signed by a mysterious Mr. Scott proove the use at the end of 20th century of a transparent aluminium material that could have allowed this. But the latter could never be reproduced, despite desperate efforts of Dr Nichols, scientist of the Plexicorp glass producer company of San Francisco that owned the rights.
Officer quarters are main quarters found on deck B.
The NX-01 corridors are made of alveol metallic structure, soft and resistant. They are characterized by circular section separations, for evident mechanical equilibrium reasons. Communicators are regularily placed on walls for emergency communications inside the ship. But except for these little devices, walls don't show any distinctive tools.

Energy distribution system |
These systems are relays that controle the ship's energy repartition and alimentation, between the tanks located just below deck C and sub-systems of all decks. No other details on these equipements.
The NX-01 hull is covered with all kind of sensors, the ship being first dedicated to exploration. Deck B is no exception and includes some of them all around the external plaques. Among these differents kinds, there are various wavelength sensors, gravitational detectors, or warp signature captors.
Some famous discoveries and publication have been made based on these sensors. Let's cite the original in-situ study of a comet (Mayweather and Reed, 2151) and the excellent paper on the black hole of a ternary stellar system discovered in August 2152 (T'Pol and Archer, 2152).

NACELLES | |
|
Separated from the main saucer, nacelles are accessibles only by little tunnels following plasma accelerator conduits. They are suitable for Humans only when the warp reactor is off, or one can perish shared in the tunnels (300 degrees C in average). Tunnels inside the nacelles, close to warp coils, are friendly nammed 'Catwalk' (season 2).
