The Enterprise come and want to refill its deuterium stock on a Kreetassan mining colony, but despite all efforts to have a deal, these last refuse to have business with Archer, pretexting their entire production has been booked by another buyer. When a Kreetassan Doctor seems more than interested by medical supply usually used against plasma burnings, Phlox and Archer come to suspect there is another reason. Indeed, a group of Klingons pillagers land to attack the colony to retrieve their reserves. The situation go on like this since 5 years. What can Archer and its starship do to help these poor Kreetassiens ?
