January 10, 2153. Travis is reunited with its family onboard the Mayweather cargo ship 'Horizon'. After the recent death of their father, it's Paul, its brother, who has taken command of the cargo. Aliens attack the ship and attach a beacon impossible to be removed for finding back the cargo when desired. Travis organize the resistance and think about leaving the Enterprise to come back to its family, but eventually they manage to defeat the pirates. Paul finally decides Travis not to leave Starfleet.
